Google Analytics
#1
Hi all

Just getting to grips with the putting together a website using wordpress, installed the google analytics plugin and it appears to be authenticated.  The google analytics page is telling me to insert the "universal analytics tracking code" into each page of my site but I have no idea how to do this whilst keeping it hidden from visitors.....

any advice?

Thanks

Lewis

Hi Lewis,

Glad you're getting on well with WordPress.

What Google Analytics plugin are using?

The plugin itself should insert the tracking code for you into your pages.

This is a popular plugin, although there are plenty of choices:

It may be that you need to enable the plugin, or add your tracking code in the plugin settings if you haven't already.

Just let us know if you need any more help.

All the best,

Dan
